Winston for Good partnered with the firm’s pro bono client Access Bronx Charter to develop and launch a mentorship program for its students.

Winston volunteers arrived bright and early in upper Harlem to prepare for an eventful morning with the Fresh Air Fund supporting hundreds of lucky campers eager to depart for their special camping experience in upstate New York. Families arrived with luggage, paperwork, and their excited children to complete the registration process before boarding buses for a summertime camp experience sponsored by the Fresh Air Fund. 

Winston & Strawn’s Charlotte Office participated in the fifth annual Charlotte Triage Pro Bono Partnership. The annual event brings together dozens of volunteers from local law firms and corporate legal departments to address critical legal needs for the most vulnerable members of the Charlotte community.

As part of the firm’s Racial Justice & Equity CEASE Initiative, Winston & Strawn played a pivotal role in the formation of Fifth Star Funds—a non-profit that helps level the playing field for Black and other underrepresented tech entrepreneurs by providing equitable access to early-stage venture capital.

Ten recent law school graduates, and soon-to-be Winston associates, spent their summer gaining hands-on experience and providing much-needed assistance to public interest law organizations serving as Winston pro bono fellows.

Our Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) team in London recently hosted a very special live experience where acclaimed art historian Rose Balston guided through the compelling gazes of three significant portraits: “unknown artist’s “Portrait of Elizabeth I of England, The Armada Portrait”, Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring”, and Artemisia Gentileschi’s “Self Portrait as the Allegory of Painting”.

On July, 25, Winston’s Dallas office participated in a pro bono legal aid clinic run by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP), an organization that trains and supports volunteer attorneys to provide free legal assistance to low-income individuals.
