Pro Bono In Action
Nearly a Third of the Firm’s New Associate Class Served Our Communities as Pro Bono Fellows
Pro Bono In Action
October 24, 2025
This summer, 21 members of the U.S. Class of 2025 served as Pro Bono Fellows—one of the highest participation rates since the program’s founding in 2011.
By beginning their legal careers in pro bono service, our 2025 Pro Bono Fellows demonstrated a strong commitment to expanding access to justice and embodied the firm’s longstanding commitment to excellence through public service.
Winston’s Pro Bono Fellowship Program places incoming associates at local public interest law organizations during the period between graduation and their start date with the firm. The program provides participants an opportunity to get a jump start on their legal careers while also providing much-needed service to public interest legal organizations.
