Winston Named Outstanding Pro Bono Partner by Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights

On September 17, Winston & Strawn was recognized as Outstanding Pro Bono Partner of the Year at the Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights’ (CLCCR) annual Good Trouble Gala.

Winston has a longstanding partnership with CLCCR and was honored for our work securing a sizable monetary settlement from the Village of Richton Park for a mother of three who was forced to vacate her home due to a discriminatory crime-free nuisance ordinance. In addition, the Village of Richton Park amended its policy and paid attorneys’ fees. Read more about the case here.
