Winston & Strawn Names 18 New Partners Globally

Chicago – November 24, 2025 – Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to announce that 18 of the firm’s lawyers have been elevated to partner.

These accomplished lawyers represent ten practice areas and nine offices globally. Our new partners highlight the firm’s expansive international capabilities and our commitment to addressing the complex needs of clients across varied and evolving industries.

The following lawyers make up this year’s partnership class:

Shreyansi Agarwal (New York) represents private credit funds, leading banks, private equity sponsors and other financial institutions on a wide range of debt financing transactions. Shreyansi focuses her practice on leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and acquisition financings, and has extensive experience structuring solutions across the capital stack, including senior secured, subordinated, and unsecured credit facilities, unitranche facilities, first lien/second lien facilities, mezzanine financings, and hybrid facilities.

Bailey Brandon (Chicago) is a complex commercial litigator who represents companies across diverse industries in high-stakes commercial disputes. She has substantial experience in state and federal courts nationwide, bringing a practical, business-focused approach to every matter. Drawing on her deep understanding of clients’ legal and business needs, she delivers efficient, effective advocacy tailored to each case. In addition to commercial disputes, Bailey defends class actions, mass torts, securities litigation, and antitrust cases.

Lisa Coutu (New York) is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice primarily on complex litigation, defamation, class action, and antitrust litigation matters. She is experienced in representing clients in all aspects of civil litigation in both federal and state courts, including complex commercial litigation, product liability, class actions, and defamation lawsuits.

Matthew Durkin (Chicago) focuses his practice on government investigations, white collar defense, internal investigations, and assisting clients with compliance issues in a variety of industries. Matt further represents businesses and executives in complex business disputes and commercial litigation, and has served on numerous trial teams. In his white collar defense work, he represents corporate and individual clients in matters involving allegations of bribery/kickbacks, wire fraud, and health care fraud.

Luke Haller (Chicago) advises clients on complex commercial real estate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, borrower-side financings, sale-leasebacks, and dispositions. He represents real estate private equity funds, hedge funds, family offices, and other institutional investors across asset classes, including residential (seniors housing, student housing, and manufactured housing), industrial (including cold storage, advanced manufacturing, and IOS), retail, and office.

Sarah Harmon (Chicago) focuses her practice on product liability matters, mass tort cases, and other complex commercial disputes. She has extensive experience managing complex, high-profile cases for major U.S. and international corporations in both state and federal courts. Sarah has handled multi-jurisdictional litigation in federal and state courts and represents companies, manufacturers, utilities, and their insureds in cases alleging personal or catastrophic injury and wrongful death due to toxic product exposure.

Patrick Hogan (Washington, D.C.) represents clients in product liability, product-related class action, and other complex and multidistrict litigation in courts across the country. He represents manufacturers, distributors, and retailers in federal and state court and focuses on mass tort litigation and product-related class actions involving allegations of failure to warn or false or deceptive advertising.

Rebecca Jack (London) is a corporate and commercial lawyer, with extensive international and in-house experience. She focuses her practice on providing practical, cross-border advice to companies and their investors at all stages of a company’s life, from venture capital to public listing, with particular focus on digital assets and other emerging technologies.

Lindsey Kell (Charlotte) focuses her practice on debt financing and other corporate finance transactions, with an emphasis on cash flow and asset-based lending. She regularly advises private equity firms, traditional banks lenders and direct lenders on financings involving acquisitions, recapitalizations, out of court restructurings, foreign collateral, and split lien, first/second lien and mezzanine structures.

Tristan Kirk (Los Angeles) provides comprehensive representation in all aspects of employment law. He focuses on defending employers nationwide against a wide array of employment claims in both class/representative actions and single plaintiff matters. Tristan also handles matters in arbitration and those brought before the NLRB, DFEH, and the California Labor Commissioner.

William Logan (Houston) concentrates his practice on intellectual property matters, including patent and trade secret litigation. He has experience representing clients in a broad array of matters, including patent and trade secrets litigation before state and district courts, along with inter partes review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Michael Lyon (New York) concentrates his practice in structured finance focusing on residential, commercial, consumer, and other asset classes. He advises on transactions involving residential mortgage loans, consumer loans, and mortgage servicing rights. He counsels clients on securitization transactions, loan sales, warehouse and repurchase facilities, servicing advance arrangements, and other financing structures across diverse asset classes.

Matthew McCullough (Silicon Valley) focuses his practice on high-tech patent litigation and has significant experience litigating patent disputes in district courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, the Federal Circuit, and the International Trade Commission. His computer engineering background allows him to delve deeply into the technology and provide clients with strategic advice for defending their products across a broad range of industries.

Benjamin Popeck (New York) concentrates his practice on private equity and mergers and acquisitions. He represents clients in a range of cross-border and domestic corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring, and private equity transactions.

John Secaras (Chicago) concentrates his practice on corporate transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions and private equity matters. He advises on domestic and cross-border transactions for various publicly traded and privately held companies in addition to counseling clients on corporate governance matters.

Audrey Szultz (Paris) practice is focused on private equity transactions and, more generally, on M&A transactions for investment funds, directors or managers. She advises on cross-border and domestic corporate and private equity matters including mergers and acquisition, joint ventures, restructuring, and private equity transactions.

Sam Falcon Trimbach (Chicago) counsels clients on environmental issues and helps them navigate federal, state, and local regulations. He assesses environmental risk in corporate transactions, advocates for clients in contact with regulators, guides clients in litigation, and helps clients achieve regulatory compliance.

Sarah Viebrock (New York) focuses her practice on sports, antitrust, and complex commercial litigation matters. She represents sports industry clients, such as professional league players associations and college athletes, in arbitrations and litigations involving contract, IP licensing, and antitrust issues. In addition, Sarah has represented clients in various industries through every phase of antitrust and complex commercial litigation.
