Luke represents and advises real estate funds, including private equity and hedge funds, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional investors such as pension funds and REITs, in nearly every aspect of the real estate business.
Luke has developed a successful developing practice covering a wide variety of asset classes, guiding clients through joint venture structuring, complex acquisitions and dispositions, real estate debt financing (including mezzanine financing and preferred equity investments), leasing (including sale-leasebacks), and development. Over the past 24 months, Luke has counseled several operators through complex programmatic joint ventures and co-investments, earning a reputation for understanding client’s goals and objectives and delivering results. Luke's business-oriented approach is a key factor in his ability to add value by advancing his client’s strategic goals and objectives through practical solutions and consistent service.
Luke received his B.A. in Economics from Emory University in 2009 and he received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2012.
