Pat is a litigator who represents clients in product liability, product-related class action, and other complex and multidistrict litigation in courts across the country.

Pat is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of its Product Liability and Mass Torts and Complex Commercial Litigation groups. He represents clients in multidistrict and class action litigation in state and federal courts across the country, focusing on product liability and mass tort litigation and product-related class actions involving allegations of failure to warn or affirmative misrepresentations. He has experience in most aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling and strategy development through appeal.

Pat is adept at managing aspects of complex cases, including pretrial procedural briefing, large-scale fact development and discovery, and expert witness development and discovery.  He has experience taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, briefing key pretrial issues like Rule 702 and class certification motions, and preparing and examining witnesses at trial. Pat also has experience preparing briefing to the federal courts of appeal, including the Eighth and Ninth Circuits.

In addition to his litigation practice, Pat counsels clients on antitrust issues, including by representing clients before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice.

Pat joined the firm from Winston’s summer associate program. Prior to that, Pat was a legal intern in the civil division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. During law school, Pat served as a managing editor of The George Washington Law Review.
