Nas also has considerable experience working with clients in a broad range of other industries, including manufacturing and financial services.

Nas also maintains a substantial pro bono practice. Some of his recent pro bono efforts include: securing an order to vacate and expunge the conviction of a survivor of human trafficking; counseling nonprofit organizations and conducting internal investigations related to allegations of financial and other wrongdoing; and assisting clients at a legal clinic on landlord-tenant, family law, and criminal matters.

He also conducted extensive legal research related to constitutional, labor & employment, and immigration issues.

While in law school, Nas interned at the Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) in Oakland, California, where he represented and counseled survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence who were seeking civil restraining orders against their abusers.

Nas serves on the board of directors for the National Association of Muslim Lawyers. He is also an active member in the American Bar Association Litigation Section, in which he holds committee leadership positions.
