Emily is a litigation associate in Winston’s Dallas office, who focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, breach of contract claims, fraud claims, and employment disputes.
While at Winston, Emily has gained significant state and federal litigation experience at both the trial and appellate court levels. Prior to joining the firm, Emily clerked for the Honorable Amos Mazzant, III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and interned for the Honorable Debra Lehrmann at the Supreme Court of Texas. While clerking, Emily amassed invaluable courtroom experience in a wide variety of civil and criminal matters, enabling her to advocate for her clients in a highly effective manner.

Education
Emily received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2021, where she was an associate editor of Texas Law Review and a member of the Order of the Coif. She received her B.A. with distinction in political science and public relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018.
