
Sanaya M. Tamboli
Associate
Sanaya focuses her practice on effectively assisting clients in government investigations and enforcement actions, internal investigations, and complex commercial litigation. She is representing numerous companies in federal government investigations in the financial services, real estate, and health care industries.
As an associate in the White Collar & Government Investigations Practice, Sanaya has handled a variety of complex government investigations, including for major corporations and financial institutions, brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB), and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Prior to joining the firm, Sanaya was a judicial intern for the Honorable Joel M. Cohen on the New York Supreme Court and an intern at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.

Sanaya is a member of the Winston's Women’s Leadership Initiative and Asian Leadership Initiative.
Sanaya is also actively involved in pro bono work. She is currently working on an asylum case for a gay man who was persecuted because of his sexuality.

Education
Sanaya received her J.D. in 2021 from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was the managing editor of the Journal of National Security Law and Policy as well as a peer advisor with the Dean of Students office. She received her B.A., cum laude, in political science and international studies from the University of Florida in 2018.
