Rahsaan J. Sales

Rahsaan has served as lead counsel on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, strategic partnerships, and commercial arrangements. He has extensive experience guiding executive teams and boards through governance, compliance, and risk oversight, and has managed enterprise-wide legal and regulatory functions for multinational organizations. His work includes counseling executive teams and boards on governance, compliance, and risk management, designing scalable legal operations, overseeing litigation and dispute strategy, and structuring commercial agreements.

Before transitioning to senior in-house roles, Rahsaan was an associate at Winston from 2003 to 2010, where he advised public and private companies on securities matters, corporate governance, private equity transactions, and M&A. His time at Winston also included a long-term secondment with the legal department of a major global aerospace company, supporting the company’s M&A and general corporate activities.

Rahsaan’s combined experience in private practice and as a general counsel enables him to approach client matters with a balanced, solutions-focused perspective, gives him a balanced, solutions-oriented perspective that is informed by deep transactional and governance expertise and integrates legal risk, operational realities, and business strategy.
