Ryan Faulkner is an associate in the firm's Dallas office who focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, antitrust, and sports law. With a background spanning law, media, and professional sports, Ryan brings a unique perspective to high-stakes disputes—especially those at the intersection of athletics and the courtroom.

Prior to joining Winston & Strawn, Ryan served as a Salary Arbitration Consultant for the Major League Baseball Players Association, where he advised in the contract valuation and negotiation of MLB player contracts worth millions of dollars. At ESPN, he worked within the Programming and Acquisitions division, reviewing NBA contracts and ensuring compliance with media rights agreements across domestic and international platforms. His earlier roles in sports journalism—including editorial leadership, broadcasting, and public relations—demonstrate a deep understanding of the narratives and legal frameworks that shape the modern sports landscape.
