Winston & Strawn Advised on IFLR’s 2025 M&A Deal of the Year for Grupo Calleja

Winston & Strawn served as legal counsel on the transaction recognized as IFLR’s 2025 “M&A Deal of the Year,” which involved Grupo Calleja in a US$1.2B acquisition of Almacenes Éxito—one of the first dual tender offers for equity securities of a publicly traded company in Colombia. The winners were announced at the IFLR Americas Awards ceremony, which was held on the evening of May 14, 2025 at The Metropolitan Club in New York City.
