Winston’s 1L Recruiting Tour Makes Stops at Top Mid-Atlantic Schools

After hosting Georgetown law students during their Winter Walk-Around earlier this year, Winston enjoyed several other recent opportunities to network with Georgetown 1Ls:

• We hosted a coffee break on March 19 (pictured below), where students enjoyed coffee, frappes, and smoothies while visiting with Winston Partners.
• Associates attended the Georgetown Law Women in Firms Networking Reception on March 25.
• The following evening, Associates and Summer Associates represented Winston during the school’s Law Firm Reception.

Winston also participated in several recent events at Duke University School of Law. Associates and Summer Associates attended Blueprint for Success on March 19, where students learned more about the practice of law during this networking reception for employers and alumni. Earlier in the month, we conducted mock interviews with nine of the students who participated in Duke’s 1L Practice Interview Program.

Additional recent and upcoming recruiting events at Mid-Atlantic schools include:

• George Washington University Law School’s Diversity Networking Reception on March 20, where Partners spoke to LGBTQ, allied, and other diverse students from GW and D.C.-area law schools about Winston’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Winston Associates and Summer Associates visited with another group of talented 1Ls during an Employer Reception at the University of North Carolina School of Law on March 20.
• On April 8 at University of Virginia School of Law, Associates and Summer Associates represented Winston at the Spring Diversity Reception.
