On January 7, we were pleased to welcome 24 1L students from Georgetown Law who visited our Washington, D.C. office as part of the school’s Winter Walk-Around program to learn more about litigation.

Winston & Strawn hosted a lunch program at the University of Texas School of Law on October 20 for 1L students interested in learning more about Big Law life and strategies for success on this career path.

Our Chicago office welcomed a large contingent of the first-year law students attending the University of Illinois College of Law for a panel discussion with our attorneys on October 10 as part of the College’s 2019 Professionalism Day. 

On the heels of a successful summer program that resulted in the extension of permanent offers to all of our 2019 summer associates, we are pleased to report that 70 2L students will be summering with Winston in 2020.

Talented rising 2L students from top law schools across the country learned more about the tremendous opportunities at Winston during June receptions held in our Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. offices.

On the heels of a highly successful on-campus recruiting effort, Winston is pleased to announce that a group of talented 1L students also will be joining the firm’s 2019 Summer Associate Program.

After hosting Georgetown law students during their Winter Walk-Around earlier this year, Winston enjoyed several other recent opportunities to network with Georgetown 1Ls.

On the heels of a successful summer program that resulted in the extension of permanent offers to all of our 2018 summer associates, we are pleased to report that 63 2L students will be summering with Winston in 2019.

Winston welcomed a terrific turnout of rising 2Ls who attended our summer receptions in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.

Law schools in California were the next stop on Winston’s coast-to-coast 1L recruiting tour. On February 7, a group of our Los Angeles attorneys headed to UCLA School of Law for its Journal of Law and Technology (JOLT) 19th Annual Career Forum. 

Our firm was pleased to participate in an Employer Showcase for first-year law students at Washington University School of Law held on January 11.
