The firm was pleased to sponsor the Women Law Students Association (WLSA) Annual Leadership Banquet held on March 29 as part of Women’s Week 2018 at the University of Michigan Law School.

Winston associates and Michigan law alums Liz Grden and Karalena Guerrieri attended this event, which recognizes female Michigan law students and alumni who have made significant contributions to the community. They are pictured below with 1L student Leah Duncan, who will be joining our 2018 summer associate program in Chicago.

Leading up to Women’s Week, held March 26-29, Winston’s Chicago Office Managing Partner and Michigan law alum Linda Coberly attended a March 19 coffee chat with WLSA members, where she discussed the firm’s parental leave policy and her experience as a working parent.

Winston offers 20 weeks of paid parental leave for mothers and fathers to care for and bond with a newborn or newly adopted child, along with a Parental Leave Transition Support Program that includes a Parental Leave Liaison partner resource, reduced hours targets during “ramp-down” and “ramp-up” periods, and confidential coaching services.
