The firm bolstered its national rankings in The American Lawyer 2015 Associates Survey, moving up 61 spots compared to 2014. Credit for this outstanding result goes in large part to the mid-level associates across all of our U.S. offices who delivered an overall response rate of 78 percent in connection with this annual AmLaw survey.

Winston associates at all levels also came out in droves to participate in Vault.com’s “Best Law Firms” survey, which says: “Competitive market-rate compensation for comparatively flexible hours and satisfying work opportunities are a magic combination for Winston & Strawn associates” and highlights the firm’s efforts to increase transparency with associates.

Additionally, Winston was featured in the 2015-2016 Chambers Associate: The Student’s Guide to Law Firms, which provides an “Inside View” of law firms based on interviews with associates concerning their happiness and stress levels, among other topics. Our associates told Chambers that recent growth of the corporate practice has “broadened the opportunities available to us” and noted the benefits of the free market assignment system that “allows you to tailor the experience to suit your interests.”
