Winston was pleased to participate in the “Succeeding as an IP Summer Associate” panel discussion held on February 22 at George Washington University Law School as part of its Employer Outreach Series. Sharon Lin, a 2015 Winston summer associate, served as a panelist for this program. Associates Jeremiah Egger also was on hand to network with the 40 student attendees before and after the panel. All are Washington, D.C.-based IP litigators, and Ms. Kuo and Mr. Egger (M.S. computer engineering) are GW alums.
On February 16, another group of our D.C.-based IP litigators attended GW’s Intellectual Property Networking Reception for law students interested in pursuing a career in intellectual property law. Partner Andrew Sommer, Of Counsel Michael Woods, and Associate J.C. Masullo (also a GW alum) greeted the 80 law students in attendance and introduced them to Winston’s top-ranked IP practice.
The Student Intellectual Property Law Association presented both of these events.
