Neha Vyas is a litigation associate in the firm’s New York office, whose practice focuses on sports, antitrust, and labor law. She routinely represents players associations, athletes, agencies, and other prominent sports industry clients in litigation and arbitration.

Neha represents a variety of sports industry clients, including the National Football League Players Association, OneTeam Partners, Klutch Sports Group, WME | IMG (Endeavor), and individual athletes.

Representative Matters:

  • House v. NCAA, Carter v. NCAA, Hubbard v. NCAA: Neha helped secure a groundbreaking $2.75 billion dollar back-pay damages settlement for hundreds of thousands of current and former college athletes that resolved claims challenging the NCAA’s limits on athlete compensation and benefits and opened the door for billions more in revenue sharing payments that will be shared with athletes in the future.
  • NFLPA et al. v. DraftKings et al.: Neha represents the NFLPA and its licensing and marketing arm, NFLPI, in a breach of contract lawsuit against DraftKings, seeking to recover several millions of dollars of unpaid sums under the parties’ license agreement.
  • NFLPA Commercial Arbitrations: Neha has represented the NFLPA in commercial disputes before the American Arbitration Association and JAMS.
  • NFLPA Labor Arbitrations: Neha has represented the NFLPA in several labor arbitrations under the NFL-NFLPA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Watson v. NFL: Neha successfully represented Cleveland Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson and the NFL Players Association in arbitration proceedings challenging the NFL’s proposed indefinite suspension.
  • Guden v. Stanford University: Neha represented a group of Stanford University athletes in an action seeking to enjoin Stanford from terminating eight of its varsity sports teams. The action led to the reinstatement of the eliminated teams.
  • Activision Blizzard: Neha represented Activision Blizzard in a DOJ civil antitrust case, resulting in a favorable, no-civil-penalty settlement.
  • Arroyo et al. v. MLBPA: Neha represented the MLBPA in arbitration proceedings that led to an award confirming the MLBPA’s discipline of Rimas Sports executives.
