Education

John Drosick is a litigation associate who focuses his practice on product liability litigation, internal investigations, securities litigation, patent litigation, and other complex-commercial disputes. John has been part of several high-profile product liability cases in California state courts, stemming from Judicial Council Coordinated Proceedings, that have ended with favorable outcomes for the client on the eve of trial.  He also has worked on internal investigations and other complex commercial disputes in various federal courts.  He has experience in every facet of trial preparation, such as preparing expert witnesses in the areas of epidemiology and genotoxicity, preparing company fact witnesses, attending depositions, drafting motions, creating direct and cross examinations, creating pre-trial motions and filings, and conducting written discovery.

While in law school, John served as a judicial extern with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois for the Honorable John R. Blakey and the Circuit Court for Cook County for the Honorable Raymond W. Mitchell. He also was selected to be a member of the Notre Dame Law School’s moot court trial team, and participated as a member in Notre Dame Law School’s LGBT Law Forum. 

Prior to law school, John worked as teacher in Philadelphia and Chicago as a Teach for America corps member while earning a master’s in education from the University of Pennsylvania. He also served as a captain of Villanova University’s men’s tennis team and was named four-times to the Big East Men’s Tennis All-Academic Team.

Credentials

John received his B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University in 2011 and he received his M.S. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. He received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2017 where he was a member of the Moot Court – Trial Team, and the LGBT Law Forum, and a recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Trial Advocacy.  He also served as an article editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy.

Before law school, John was a Teach For America corps member in Philadelphia and a 7th and 8th grade math teacher in Chicago.
