John Drosick Named Among National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s 2026 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40

Winston & Strawn associate John Drosick has been recognized among the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association’s 2026 Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40. Each year, the National LGBTQ+ Bar recognizes LGBTQ+ legal professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves in their field and demonstrated a profound commitment to the LGBTQ+ equality.

John is an associate in the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts Practice Group and serves as one of the firm’s PRIDE associate liaisons. He represents large companies in product liability and mass tort disputes in both federal and state courts and has experience across all stages of litigation. John also works on complex commercial litigation matters involving breach of contract, trade secret misappropriation, civil RICO, fraud, and patent infringement claims.

In addition to his commercial practice, John maintains an active pro bono practice focused on LGBTQ+ issues. His work includes helping secure favorable settlements in several Section 1983 cases and obtaining an injunction against the Department of Defense for excluding service members living with HIV. He has also represented LGBTQ+ individuals in military discharge upgrade petitions and in civil litigation arising from a mass homophobic chant during a soccer match at Soldier Field.
