Digital Millennium Copyright Act

We have been a legal pioneer in litigation and counseling related to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and secondary copyright liability. Since the passing of the DMCA more than 20 years ago, we have defended internet service providers (ISPs) against claims of contributory and vicarious copyright infringement brought by major record labels and music publishers.
