Winston Achieves WILEF Gold Standard Certification and Mansfield Certification Plus Status for Second Year in a Row

Winston’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Women’s Leadership Initiative are thrilled to announce that for the second year in a row, the firm has been honored with Gold Standard Certification from the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) and has earned the coveted Mansfield Certification Plus designation for reaching meaningful diversity goals for lateral hires and women in leadership positions and committees. We are also honored and proud to be on WomenInc. Magazine’s list of the nation’s “Top 100 Firms for Women” for 2019.
WILEF emphasizes the leadership roles attained by women partners, rather than a firm’s policies or practices or overall number of women partners. Winston’s achievement of Mansfield Certification Plus further demonstrates our firm’s commitment to increasing diversity in our leadership ranks. Winston was an early adopter of the Mansfield Rule, named for Arabella Mansfield, the first woman admitted to practice law in the United States.
