SBA Makes Changes to Annual Charges

The U.S. Small Business Administration (the SBA) has announced that the annual fee charged to Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs) for debentures (the Annual Fee) will initially be 0.3440% for the fiscal year 2026. Any SBICs that have outstanding SBA debentures from October 1, 2025 to January 20, 2026 will be required to pay this Annual Fee, even if those debentures were received from SBA in prior years.
