Glenn is the Managing Director of Winston Legal Solutions and eDiscovery Services at Winston & Strawn. He has worked in the areas of criminal and civil litigation for over 30 years and is an active member of the California Bar Association. He is a creative and practical problem solver for a wide variety of issues at the intersection of law and technology. His practice is specifically focused on eDiscovery and information governance, with a specific focus on the efficient, effective and defensible use of technology for investigations, regulatory requests, transactions and other complex needs.

Glenn has extensive experience with all aspects of electronically stored information (ESI) and the use of technology in practice. His strengths include management of people and process, project management, consulting, strategic response, needs assessment, scoping, workflow design, fact development, matter budgeting, development of standards of practice, analytics and metrics and implementation of appropriate technical solutions.  He previously utilized his skill and experience for over 20 years at an AmLaw 200 firm, where he served as eDiscovery Counsel and their Firmwide Director of their litigation support department. In this role, he represented and managed support for the Firm’s top clients which included Fortune 500 companies, Law Firms and Governmental Agencies for their various litigation and investigation matters. Many of these representations included high-profile, high-stakes and “bet the company” matters in the areas of media law, technology, environmental tort, employee mobility and trade secrets, contract disputes and general commercial litigation. He has also handled numerous internal investigations and regulatory matters, including Second Requests under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.

More recently, Glenn worked as a Managing Director in the Technology segment of FTI Consulting, Inc. In this role he was focused on digital insights and risk management matters. Specifically, he worked to help develop and implement a Strategic Case Management practice and managed large-scale client engagements.

Beyond his practice, Glenn is involved with industry organizations and associations that address issues involving law and technology. He is an industry-recognized expert on effective and efficient eDiscovery and litigation support.

He serves on the Executive Committee on Law Practice Management and Technology for the California Lawyer’s Association (CLA) and is involved with the International Legal Technology Association (ITLA). In these roles, he works to increase the level of understanding and discourse on legal technology issues in the industry and is a frequent speaker at events and conferences.

Glenn also teaches courses in eDiscovery Law and Fact Investigation at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law in Los Angeles.

Glenn received his BA in Communication Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1991 and earned his JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1994.
