Zarouhi (Zar) is a labor and employment associate in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Zar’s practice focuses on representing employers in a wide range of class and collective actions and single plaintiff litigation, as well as advising and counseling California and nationwide employers on labor and employment matters and disputes. 

Zar defends employers in a variety of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims in both class actions and single plaintiff matters. Zar also counsels employers on a broad range of labor and employment issues, and she provides sexual harassment avoidance training, guidance, and presentations to employers.

Zar is fluent in Armenian.

Education

Zar earned her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2019, where she was a writing advisor to first year students, she was the President of the Armenian Graduate Students' Association, and she served as a member of the Criminal Justice Law Review. During law school, Zar also completed a judicial externship for the Honorable Stephen V. Wilson of the Central District of California, as well as an internship at Bet Tzedek’s Small Business Legal Academy. She received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2014.
