Gary is a Senior E-Discovery Attorney with a breadth of experience in complex litigation and advanced e-discovery strategies. He defends and manages commercial litigation, class actions, and mass tort litigation relating to claims ranging from toxic tort and environmental issues to property damage and breach of contract. 

Gary concentrates his practice on complex eDiscovery matters arising in federal and state litigation. He advises clients on all phases of the discovery lifecycle, including data identification, preservation, collection, review, and production, and works closely with them to design defensible discovery strategies and deploy analytics and technology‑assisted review tools. Gary regularly oversees the discovery process end‑to‑end and handles disputes that emerge during discovery.

Gary has represented a broad range of clients throughout his career, including Fortune 100 chemical and industrial companies and other prominent corporations. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Legal Extern with the United States Department of Justice, Civil Appellate Division.

Gary is committed to his pro bono practice and has handled matters in immigration and refugee rights.

  • Led eDiscovery for generic drug manufacturer in In re Zantac, including oversight of all discovery and negotiation of state-of-the-art Technology Assisted Review protocol with Plaintiff’s executive committee.
  • Led eDiscovery for generic drug manufacturer in In re Metformin Mktg. & Sales Practices Litig, and led negotiations on common discovery issues for Joint Defense Group including negotiation and implementation of TAR protocols.
  • Represented medical device manufacturer and led eDiscovery in Ethylene Oxide contamination cases.
  • Represented medical device manufacturer and led eDiscovery in mass tort and State Attorney General investigations related to alleged failures of diabetes devices.
  • Represented medical device manufacturer and led eDiscovery in personal injury actions related to interocular devices.
  • Led eDiscovery for cosmetics maker in putative class action alleging deceptive labeling.
