Alison is a registered patent attorney who concentrates her practice on patent litigation matters. Alison uses her background in genetics to assist clients in intellectual property matters in both federal court and the United States Patent & Trademark Office at all stages of litigation. Her legal experience and background in science allow her to effectively analyze patent claims, prior art, case law, and statutes, as well as draft briefs, motions, and other memoranda.

Alison focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation. While Alison works primarily in the pharmaceutical industry, she has represented clients in several industries.

Alison has trial experience and has assisted with case strategy development; helped with fact and expert discovery, including depositions; participated in jury research and jury selection; helped prepare witnesses for both direct and cross-examination; drafted dispositive motions, briefs, and other memoranda and reports; and assisted in post-trial motion practice. Alison also helps counsel clients and develop strong case strategies by analyzing patent claims, prior art, statutes, regulations, and case law.

Outside of the patent litigation space, Alison has assisted clients in complex commercial litigation cases and contract disputes, and has performed pro bono work on asylum cases, special education cases, and civil rights cases. Prior to joining the firm, Alison also volunteered at the Daley Center in the Self-Help Web Center and was awarded a Certificate of Service for her legal volunteer work.
