Madison is a litigator who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation. Prior to joining Winston, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Eduardo V. Rodriguez in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Madison joins the firm from Winston’s summer associate program and focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation involving breach of contract, business tort, fraud, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy litigation. Madison also has experience litigating section 1983 matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Madison was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Eduardo V. Rodriguez, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. She worked as a legal assistant at a leading real estate and business law boutique firm in Austin, Texas. Madison was also a legal intern for the Oregon Innocence Project, where she researched and investigated claims of innocence from Oregon inmates.

  • Member of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Texas
  • Innocence work with both the Oregon Innocence Project and the Actual Innocence Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law
  • Section 1983 litigation against Bexar County with the Civil Rights Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law

Madison received her B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science from Boise State University in 2014. She received her J.D., with Honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 2020, where she was the Managing Editor for The Review of Litigation and a Staff Editor at the Texas Journal on Civil Rights & Civil Liberties.
