Winston Team Recognized in Am Law Litigation Daily’s Litigator of the Week Column

A Winston & Strawn team led by Brian Ferguson, Robert Vlasis, and Rex Mann was featured in The Am Law Litigation Daily’s Litigator of the Week column on January 26, 2024.

The team secured a win for client Advanced Micro Devices in a showdown at the U.S. International Trade Commission with rival Realtek Semiconductor Corp. In a case where Advanced Micro was accused of infringing three patents relating to integrated circuit design, Administrative Law Judge Cameron Elliot found that all asserted claims of two of the patents were invalid. For the third, the ALJ found that all asserted claims were not infringed. The ALJ also made the rare finding that Realtek had not proven the economic prong of the domestic industry requirement.
