Winston Team Led by Jeffrey Steinfeld Featured in Litigator of the Week

A Winston & Strawn team led by partner Jeffrey Steinfeld was featured in the Litigator of the Week column by the Am Law Litigation Daily on May 16, 2025.

The recognition stemmed from the team’s representation of Caitlyn Jenner and her manager, Sophia Hutchins, in a putative class action brought by a U.K. citizen, alleging millions of dollars of losses as a result of investing in the $JENNER memecoins. U.S. District Judge Stanley Blumenfeld Jr. in Los Angeles granted the defendants’ motion to dismiss last week, dismissing all nine causes of action. The judge specifically noted it would be futile for the plaintiff to amend his Section 12(a)(2) claim since the digital tokens were not sold through a prospectus.

The Winston team also includes partners John Schreiber and George Mastoris, and associates Daniel Aronsohn and Katelyn Taira.
