Winston & Strawn Ranked 4th Busiest Patent Litigation Firm in 2013

Winston & Strawn was ranked as the fourth busiest patent litigation firm according to the 2013 Patent Litigation Year in Review report by litigation analytics firm Lex Machina.

The report ranked firms by the number of open cases they had in 2013 and also listed the total number of cases they worked on from 2009 to 2013. Winston handled 165 cases in 2013 and 477 over the past five years.

Winston’s patent litigation practice also garnered a fourth-place overall ranking in Corporate Counsel’s 2013 Patent Litigation Survey and second place for defense cases. The intellectual property team was also chosen as one of four finalists for The American Lawyer's 2014 IP Litigation Department of the Year and was included in The National Law Journal's Intellectual Property Hot List.
