New Appointments Underscore Commitment to Legal Excellence and Exceptional Client Service

CHICAGO, IL (February 3, 2015) – Winston & Strawn LLP announced today that Chicago partners George Lombardi and Steve D’Amore have been named co-chairs of the firm’s 400-lawyer litigation practice.

“George and Steve are outstanding litigators and trial lawyers with well-deserved reputations for providing exceptional client service,” said Dan Webb, firm chairman. “They have demonstrated outstanding commitment to teamwork, transparency, and a passionate commitment to legal excellence and client service.”

Mr. Lombardi and Mr. D’Amore have extensive track records of success as trial lawyers and a long history of firm leadership in various roles. Mr. Lombardi is a nationally recognized litigator and trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience handling bet-the-company cases across a broad range of industries. Most recently, Mr. Lombardi was recognized as a “Litigator of the Year” in 2014 by The American Lawyer. Mr. D’Amore, a 20-year veteran of Winston & Strawn, is an accomplished litigator and trial lawyer with extensive courtroom experience throughout the country in high-stakes business cases. Mr. D’Amore is a recent recipient of BTI’s Client Service All-Stars award.

Within the litigation practice, the firm also announced the appointments of Washington, D.C. partner Chuck Klein as chair of its Complex Commercial Litigation practice, Silicon Valley partner David Enzminger and Chicago partner Mike Brody as co-chairs of the Intellectual Property practice, Washington, D.C. partner Tom Jarvis as head of the ITC practice, and New York partner Seth Farber joins Robb Adkins as co-chair of the firm’s White Collar, Regulatory Defense, and Investigations practice.
