Winston & Strawn Assists the MNH Group in Connection with the Acquisition of a Majority Interest in the Izeos Group

Winston & Strawn advised MNH (Mutuelle Nationale des Hospitaliers) Group, the first mutual society of the health and social sector, in connection with its acquisition of a majority interest in IZEOS, the leader of the healthcare sector on the Internet. The transaction was carried out through the acquisition by MNH of the shares held by the NEWFUND investment fund, which acquired an interest in IZEOS in 2012.

Winston & Strawn also assisted the MNH Group last September within the framework of its acquisition of a majority interest in Banque Française Mutualiste (BFM), a first in the mutual sector, underlining Winston’s capacity to innovate at the legal level in highly regulated environments.

For MNH, this acquisition of the first media group intended for health professionals reflects its involvement in the assistance of hospital workers regarding training, employment and information, and it confirms its willingness to be the institutional partner of the hospital sector.
