Winston & Strawn partner Michael Roche, based in the firm's Chicago office, spoke at the 25th Annual ERISA Litigation Conference in New York on December 12, 2012. The conference examined ERISA litigation as employer stock cases, 401(k) fee suits, and ERISA preemption challenges continue to proliferate in the courts.
Mr. Roche, a partner in the firm's labor and employment group, presented, "Will Legal Advice Be Protected? Legal Ethics Issues for Benefits Litigation," with Susan Hoffman from Littler Mendelson, PC. Specifically, their presentation focused on:
