Impact of the 2015 Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
December 10, 2015
Winston & Strawn, in conjunction with the Duke Law Center for Judicial Studies, presented “Judge Lee Rosenthal and Professor Steven Gensler Discuss the Impact of the 2015 Federal Rules of Civil Procedure” on December 10. The webinar addressed the impact of the most important federal discovery amendments in more than a decade.
The program featured the Honorable Lee Rosenthal, former chairwoman of the Judicial Conference Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure and the Federal Rules Advisory Committee, and Professor Steven Gensler, former member of the Federal Rules Advisory Committee. John Rosenthal, chair of Winston’s eDiscovery & Information Management Practice, served as moderator. John Rabiej, director of the Duke Law Center for Judicial Studies, offered introductory comments.
The 2015 amendments to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 16, 26, and 37 will usher in significant changes to discovery and case-management practices that have the potential to make discovery more targeted, less expensive, and more effective in achieving justice. This webinar furthered attendees’ understanding of the 2015 amendments to help take advantage of these changes.
