Bobby Malhotra Quoted in Law360 Discussing Use of AI for Reviewing Data

Winston & Strawn Partner Bobby Malhotra was recently quoted in a Law360 article after speaking on the live webinar titled “Ethics and the Defensible Use of Artificial Intelligence” hosted by the IRPO, where he discussed the growing necessity for lawyers to use artificial intelligence for reviewing data in litigation and investigations. The event covered various AI topics, including use cases for attorneys, adoption challenges, and ethical obligations.

“It’s a must-have in order to be able to respond to discovery and data challenges in an efficient and timely manner, which is very important given today’s macroeconomic climate,” Bobby said.

He added that AI has been used in e-discovery for many years, but the technology can be applied to other legal practice areas like mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and compliance.

“Anywhere where you can think of a data challenge and getting to information fast, I think would be a use case for AI to assist,” he said.
