The Federal Circuit held that it was a clear abuse of discretion for Judge Alan Albright to refuse to transfer the lawsuit between Jenam and Google from the Western District of Texas to the Northern District of California. 

Fintiv brought a patent infringement suit against Apple in the Waco Division of the Western District of Texas in December 2018.

On September 24, 2021, the Federal Circuit granted Juniper Networks’ petition for mandamus and directed Judge Albright to transfer Brazos’s six remaining lawsuits against Juniper Networks from the Waco Division to the Northern District of California.

It’s moving day again, with the Federal Circuit directing Judge Albright (Waco) to transfer a patent case against Hulu to the Central District of California.
