Women’s Leadership Initiative Hosts London Networking Reception

On July 12, 2018, Winston’s London office welcomed 30 executives from leading companies across the city for our second annual Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Networking event. 

The reception featured a short Q&A session with one of Britain’s most decorated athletes, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE. She discussed her amazing career that inspired and motivated our attendees. Individual experiences were shared and guests had the opportunity to discuss their successes, as well as various challenges faced by women in business today.

Winston’s Director of Diversity & Inclusion Sylvia James was also in attendance. Since joining the firm in 2017, Sylvia has developed and implemented an integrated strategy that enhances the firm’s diversity and inclusion programs, performance, and profile.
