Employees in Winston’s Washington, D.C. office joined forces with local nonprofit Martha’s Table to make sandwiches for nearby neighbors in need.

Each night, McKenna’s Wagon—a mobile food truck sponsored by Martha’s Table—rolls out with nutritious meals to feed hundreds of hungry residents in downtown D.C. Many of our neighbors and families throughout our communities do not have regular access to healthy, nutritious food, and their numbers are growing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make nearly 200 sandwiches to stock McKenna’s Wagon: Shiza Arshad, Yolanda Bennett, Dorothy Bowerfind, Stephanie Coelho, Rita Ellison, Stacy Fanelli, Amy Frieder, Angela Garcia, Michelle Gonzalez, Alison Haley, Paula Newby, and Mark Stull.

Winston’s San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices also joined the fight against hunger by participating in the San Francisco–Marin Food Bank’s 2021 Food from the Bar campaign. This annual fundraiser, sponsored by the area’s legal community, has raised enough money over the past 27 years to provide 19 million meals to local residents. This is the 12th year that Winston has participated.
