Winston Hosts “Experience Day” for University of Illinois Law Students

On October 6, the firm’s Chicago office welcomed 100 University of Illinois College of Law 1L and LL.M. students participating in the school’s inaugural Professional Experience Day.

The event began with a reception where the students met and mingled with some of Winston’s University of Illinois law school alums, followed by a presentation designed to introduce the students to the legal profession, which focused on lawyer development, client service, leadership, and other aspects of attorney life.

After leaving Winston, which was the first stop of the day, the students visited Cook County Circuit Court, a few smaller law firms, government agencies, and public interest organizations. 

We were thrilled to be part of this new and informative program for young law students.
