The firm honored its 2015 Charlotte office “Mentor of the Year” award winners during a luncheon reception on February 1. The Charlotte office mentoring program pairs junior- and mid-level associates with a senior-level associate or partner to facilitate open discussion of firm culture, processes, and expectations, including guidance on leadership and partnership goals.
Partner Kobi Kennedy Brinson (pictured) won “Mentor of the Year” for her work with her Associate mentee Elizabeth Ireland, who said Brinson “never hesitated to help promote my strengths with partners at the firm and made sure that I was gaining a wealth of experience during this past year.”
The “Mentor of the Year Award” was created as a way for the firm to spotlight those outstanding mentors who have consistently provided access, insight, and practical advice to our young lawyers by offering guidance and encouragement to their mentees in their pursuit of excellence and professional growth.
