The firm’s Hiring and Diversity Committees once again awarded Law Preview Scholarships to diverse first-year law students. Winston provided scholarships to ten students attending Georgetown University Law Center, Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and University of Chicago Law School this fall.

The scholarship recipients attended a six-day intensive Law Preview prep course before law school classes began on campus. During the prep course, students received coaching and practical strategies to help them excel academically during their first year.

As evidenced by the appreciative feedback received from students sponsored by Winston this year, the Law Preview program provides a valuable jump-start to one’s law school career:

“My Law Preview class was both engaging and informative, and provided me with essential hands-on learning. It has undoubtedly given me the skills I need to enter my 1L year with confidence.”

“I found the experience invaluable in learning the kind of framework and mindset to take with me into law school.”

“During the Law Preview program, I was able to gain a glimpse into each subject and learn from renowned law professors around the country. I was able to get a head start on law school because of Winston’s tremendous support and generosity.”
