Jacob focuses his practice on cross-border matters involving the intersection between the United States, Europe, and China, offering practical insights into the legal, regulatory, and commercial challenges for multinational companies doing business in Asia and the West.

Jacob represents multinational clients in litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters, including government and internal investigations and international trade advisory. His litigation practice has included securities-related litigation and complex commercial litigation, as well as international arbitration before CIETAC and litigation matters in China and Hong Kong. Jacob has conducted numerous internal investigations in China and the U.S., including investigations related to shareholder demands in the U.S., carbon-copy investigations of multinational companies after FCPA settlements, and annual internal investigations for multinational companies.
