Annette concentrates her practice on white collar defense and government and internal investigations, and maintains an active antitrust and commercial litigation practice.

Annette has represented clients across various industries, with a notable emphasis on the financial services sector, including banks, mortgage lenders, and other financial institutions. Her experience encompasses handling government investigations by a wide variety of departments and agencies, including the U.S. Department of Justice and various regulatory agencies. Annette has played lead roles in responding to grand jury and regulatory subpoenas, civil investigative demands, and other formal and informal government inquiries. She also has experience preparing witnesses for testimony in response to subpoenas and CIDs issued in connection with government investigations. Annette is particularly adept at drafting a vast range of motions and briefings, and has experience second chairing, regularly preparing for depositions and witness interviews, conducting legal research, and assisting in case strategy.

Annette maintains an active pro bono practice and counsels clients on a diverse range of matters related to immigration and contract disputes. She represented a tenant in a commercial rent dispute, where she prepared for trial and negotiated a settlement that allowed the tenant to retain her business amidst pandemic challenges.

Additionally, she assisted two high school-age boys in obtaining green cards through Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, which prevented their separation from their mother and enabled them to pursue higher education.

Prior to joining the firm, Annette was an intern at the Office of the New York State Attorney General where she conducted interviews for ongoing investigations and assisted in actions related to consumer protection violations.
