Abby focuses her practice on employee benefits. She has experience advising clients on the design and administration of qualified retirement plans and health and welfare benefit plans.

Abby has experience representing clients before the IRS and the DOL. She has assisted with preparation of determination letter applications for new, ongoing, and terminating qualified plans, participation in IRS and DOL correction programs, and successful navigation of IRS plan audits.

Abby has advised clients regarding complex legal questions arising in day-to-day operation of qualified plans, nonqualified plans, and health and welfare plans. She has assisted pension plans, including cash balance pension plans, in successfully responding to and documenting participant claims for benefits and reviewing qualified domestic relations orders for legal compliance.
