Winston’s Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion Recognized with 2020 Mansfield Certification Plus Status

We are proud to announce that the firm was awarded Mansfield Certification Plus status from Diversity Lab. This is the third consecutive year that the firm secured this title.

The Mansfield Certification is given to firms that have “affirmatively considered women, attorneys of color, LGBTQ+ attorneys, and attorneys with disabilities—at least 30% of the candidate pool—for recruitment, governance roles, equity partner promotions, and inclusion in formal pitch presentations to clients.” Winston’s “Plus” status indicates that, in addition to meeting those core requirements, we also have at least 30% diverse lawyer representation in a notable number of leadership roles.  

This accomplishment reflects the exceptional work of Winston’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, the firm’s ongoing mission to foster an inclusive workplace, and our commitment to achieving equality within Winston and our broader global community. Winston & Strawn is currently participating in the Mansfield 4.0 evaluation that is running from July 2020 to July 2021.
