Jeffrey Kessler Named 2019 Law360 Sports MVP

Jeffrey Kessler, Winston & Strawn's Co-Executive Chairman and Sports Law Practice Co-Chair, earned a spot on Law360’s 2019 list of Sports & Betting MVPs. The 2019 class of MVPs have distinguished themselves from their peers by securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters, and record-breaking deals. 

Jeffrey, one of only four attorneys named as an MVP in the Sports & Betting category, is recognized for, among other things, securing a landmark ruling in March against the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in a year’s long suit that for the first time directly challenges the NCAA’s ban on college athlete compensation. Jeffrey was also named an MVP by Law360 in 2015 and 2018.
