Cari Stinebower Discusses Russian Sanctions in The Wall Street Journal

Winston & Strawn Partner Cari Stinebower, who focuses her practice on International Trade, spoke with The Wall Street Journal about the potential economic impact U.S. and non-U.S. companies may face should the Biden administration and allies impose sanctions in response to a Russian attack on Ukraine.
Cari suggests that companies, regardless of their headquarters, with interests in Russia “assess their risk exposure based on targets proposed in sanctions legislation and draft a memorandum on the findings,” adding that “businesses shouldn’t delay in touching base with government officials to express their concerns and to seek guidance.”
