(SandRidge) in its US$144M definitive agreement to acquire certain oil and gas producing assets and leasehold interests in the Cherokee play of the Western Anadarko Basin. Additionally, SandRidge entered into a joint development agreement that governs it participation in future development of the acquired leasehold interests. The transaction expands Sandridge’s footprint in the Mid-Continent region and bolsters its production capabilities.
