On December 11, 2025, President Trump issued an executive order (the Order) targeting the two major proxy advisory firms, ISS and Glass Lewis. The Order asserts that these firms often prioritize political agendas, particularly diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives, over investor returns.
